<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple process to conjugate a polymer in a moiety having a IX factor activity. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a conjugate of a IX factor moiety and one or more water-soluble polymers. The water-soluble polymer is usually a polyethylene glycol or a derivative thereof.
