<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast reception device and a broadcast reception method capable of improving precision of error correction of an OFDM signal by improving the accuracy of reliability in each carrier to be computed. <P>SOLUTION: The broadcast reception device is constituted so that, when receiving an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexed broadcast signal and computing reliability in each carrier on the basis of a power value corresponding to each carrier contained in the broadcast signal, the broadcast reception device computes the reliability of each carrier on the basis of the ratio of each power value corresponding to each of the plurality of carriers to the total of power values corresponding to each of the carriers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
