摘要 Disclosed are an image calibration method and device that ease the rigorousness of the relative positional relationship between a calibration index and a vehicle. The image calibration method and device are provided with: a calibration index (20) that contains two lines that are parallel to each other, and the distance between the lines is known, and one line that is orthogonal to the two lines; four cameras (10) that take images of peripheral areas (R1 to R4) that contain the calibration index (20); a distortion correction processing unit (30) that adjusts peripheral area images (S1 to S4) to distortion-corrected images (P1 to P4); a perspective transformation processing unit (40) that transforms the perspectives of the distortion-corrected images (P1 to P4) to a perspective-transformed composite image (Q0) using an external parameter (N); and a calibration processing unit (50) that performs calibrations during perspective transformation processing. The calibration processing unit (50) is provided with: an internal parameter adjustment unit (51) that adjusts an internal parameter (M); and an external parameter adjustment unit (52) that adjusts an external parameter (N).
