APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING ION FOR VEHICLES

PURPOSE: An ion producing apparatus for vehicles is provided to drop moisture generated by the temperature difference between the inside of a duct and a main body/electrode to the inside of the duct, thereby blocking conduction between electrodes. CONSTITUTION: An ion producing apparatus for vehicles includes a main body(20), a plurality of electrodes(30), and a water drop clustering prevention device. A plurality of electrode support parts is installed in an exposed surface of the main body exposed to the inside of a duct where air-conditioning air is flowing. The electrode support part is projected to the lower direction in the inside of the duct. A penetration hole is arranged in the center of the electrode support part. One side of an electrode is inserted into the penetration hole of the electrode support part. The other side of the electrode is extended to the lower direction in the inside of the duct and creates positive and negative ions. The water drop clustering prevention device prevents the moisture clustering in the electrode support part and exposed surface of the main body in which the moisture is created by the temperature difference between the inside of the duct and main body/electrode.
