<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating liquid by which the formation of an image being excellent in scratch resistance, dot diameter stability, and carrying property of an inkjet recording medium after the image formation can be formed, and also, which is excellent in coating property in an image formation which continues for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The treating liquid contains at least one acidic compound which is selected from organic acidic compounds and inorganic acidic compounds, and at least one compound which is selected from nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds and organic mercapto compounds. The pH of the treating liquid at 25°C is 0.5 to 2.0, and the treating liquid makes dispersed particles in the ink composition containing a color material and at least one polymer particle aggregate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
