<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided recording medium which inhibits generating of white haze of an image at the time of piling up a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A recording medium includes a substrate 1 and two or more ink receiving layers on each of a first surface and a second surface of the substrate. The ink receiving layers each contain a pigment and a binder. A<SB>1</SB>, A<SB>2</SB>, B<SB>1</SB>, and B<SB>2</SB>(nm) satisfy the following Formulas (1), (2), and (3), where A<SB>1</SB>is the peak of the pore radius distribution of the outermost ink receiving layer 2 on the first surface side, A<SB>2</SB>is the peak of the pore radius distribution of the ink receiving layer 3 adjacent to the outermost layer, B<SB>1</SB>is the peak of the pore radius distribution of the outermost ink receiving layer 4 on the second surface side, and B<SB>2</SB>is the peak of the pore radius distribution of the ink receiving layer 5 adjacent to the outermost layer: Formula (1): A<SB>1</SB>>A<SB>2</SB>, Formula (2): B<SB>1</SB>>B<SB>2</SB>, and Formula (3):¾A<SB>1</SB>-B<SB>1</SB>¾≤1.0.
