PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting member for adjusting an upper shell of a ski boot to the upper shell designed to suit a skier's build, and the ski boot having the adjusting member. SOLUTION: The adjusting member for the ski boot including a lower shell, the upper shell mounted to the lower shell, and an inner boot mounted inside the lower shell and upper shell, includes mounting means capable of adjusting the projecting height of the adjusting member from the upper edge of the upper shell in the rear part of the ski boot to adjust the height of the upper edge of the upper shell in at least the rear part of the ski boot out of the height of the upper edge of the upper shell in the front part of the ski boot, the height of the upper edge of the upper shell in the side part of the ski boot and the height of the upper edge of the upper shell in the rear part of the ski boot.
