EXPANSION JOINT FOR BRIDGE TRACKS AND THIS CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUE

PURPOSE: An extendable joint device on a bridge track and a method of installing the same are provided to prevent durability decrease of a rail fastening device of additional axial force of a rail due to the temperature change of a girder and prevent sagging due to the bending of the rail. CONSTITUTION: An extendable joint device on a bridge track comprises a moving rail unit and a fixed rail unit. The moving rail unit comprises an extendable joint, a moving rail(14), a control plate, a gland, a clip plate and an elastic clip. The extendable joint comprises an upper plate(12) on an upper pad. The moving rail is installed on the central part of the upper plate. The control plate is installed on both sides of the bottom of the moving rail. Gland is installed on the control plate. A clip holder is installed on the control plate.
