<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of efficiently carrying out power supply using an auxiliary power source without depending on temperature variation. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU detects the temperature T of the auxiliary power source using a temperature sensor.
