PURPOSE: A multi-channel digital TV transmitting system and method thereof are provided to supply a broadcasting service to a user without disconnection and to perform the switching of an auxiliary transmitter about a plurality of main transmitters. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of main transmitters(210) transmits a digital TV signal. A plurality of switches(212) is connected to each of a plurality of main transmitters. The switches switch a main transmitter and a auxiliary transmitter(220). A modulator(211) modulates an input signal about the broadcasting content. The switch switches the modulator and the auxiliary transmitter.
