PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swan socket welded joint which improves tensile strength of a weld zone by forming an inner groove on the end face of a socket body. SOLUTION: This is a swan socket welded joint with which piping of tubular bodies is performed by welding tubular bodies 1, 2 with the welding ends inserted in the end part of a socket body 3. The end face of the socket body is removed from the outer to the inner peripheral face side of the end part to form an inner groove 4 on the inner peripheral face side of the end part of the socket body. Since a welding length for the tubular bodies is increased compared with the conventional swan socket welded joint that has no inner groove, the tensile strength of the weld zone is remarkably improved, which enhances durability and reliability of the weld zone connecting the swan socket welded joint and the tubular bodies.
