A ²-lactam compound selected from:
i) clavulanic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or an active ester form thereof; or
ii) moxalactam or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or an active ester form thereof,
for use in the treatment of a patient in need of relief from a sexual disorder, and for use in the treatment of prostate cancer or benign prostatic hyperplasia.
