摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a state estimation system applicable to various different environments. <P>SOLUTION: This device for estimating the state of a system includes (a) one or more first sensors, (b) one or more second sensors, and (c) a plurality of low-rank modules for receiving respectively output from some of one or more first sensors and storing it in a storage means. The storage means carried by the low-rank module includes: a map corresponding to each of the low-rank modules; and a first data set which is information for estimating the state of the system, and which is generated from output from some of one or more second sensors and updated based on output from some of one or more first sensors and the map. The device also includes (d) a high-rank module for receiving the first data set outputted from each of the plurality of low-rank modules, allowing each of the low-rank modules to improve the first data set, integrating each first data set, estimating the state of the system, and performing feedback to each of the low-rank modules. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
