<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch an image from 2D display to 3D display instantly when necessary. <P>SOLUTION: When an image loaded is a 3D image, the image is first displayed in 2D. When a user enters instructions to end displaying the image in 2D, switching from 2D display to 3D display is immediately performed. Furthermore, switching from 2D display to 3D display is also performed when a prescribed period of time has elapsed during 2D display, but switching from 2D display to 3D display is immediately performed when instructions to end 2D display are entered before the prescribed period of time elapses. Thus, an image is firstly displayed in 2D display mode and then the mode is switched from 2D display to 3D display, so that it becomes possible to simultaneously achieve reduction in fatigue in an observer's eyes and an increase in speed of switching to 3D display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
