PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an analyzer in high-precision dispensation, mixing, evaporation prevention and measurement accuracy with respect to a minute amount of sample liquid and reagent. SOLUTION: The analyzer is equipped with: a sample dispensing mechanism for dispensing a prescribed amount of sample; a first medium which attaches the sample discharged from the sample dispensing mechanism, to its surface; a second medium which attaches a prescribed amount of reagent to its surface; a medium moving mechanism which makes the first medium and the second medium close to each other and mixes the sample on the first medium with the reagent on the second medium; and a measuring mechanism for measuring a reaction of a mixture of the sample and the reagent on the first medium and the second medium. In particular, the sample liquid and the reagent are dispensed to respective medium surfaces 51, 52 on the near side of an opposite section by using dispensers 31, 32, thereby forming droplets 211, 221, the two mediums are moved to unite and mix the two droplets, and its reaction state is detected by a detecting section 6.
