<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The contact has conducting strips (11, 12) adopting an operational position in which a pin (B) is inserted in the contact, and the strips have a small gap, and a reception position in which the strips are spaced from one another to facilitate insertion/withdrawal of the pin and the strips have a large gap. An electrical conductor is connected to a live electrical wire (F) during functioning of the contact and arranged in a manner to be remote from/contact with the strips in the reception and operational positions, respectively. The conductor has a spring blade (2) arranged between the strips. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Low/zero insertion force type electrical contact for connecting a pin to a live electrical wire. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The electrical contact connects the pin to the electrical wire, in a safe manner. The spring blade ensures high electrical conductivity and elastic stiffness, thus reducing contact resistance between the blade and the strips that contact with the conductor. The electrical contact improves safety utilization of electrical apparatus. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a top view of a low/zero insertion force type electrical contact.
