PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the intrusion amount of a rocker into the interior side of a vehicular width direction at the time of lateral collision without using an additional reinforcement member. SOLUTION: In this vehicle body structure, a vehicular seat is attached to a seat attachment bracket 32 which is connected with a floor panel 18 and the rocker 12 in a vehicle body 10. In general, the rocker 12 is twisted so that the upper part (a ridgeline L1) of the rocker 12 intrudes into the interior side of the vehicular width direction at the time of the lateral collision of a vehicle. However, in this vehicle body structure, the connection piece 35 of the seat attachment bracket 32 is connected with the upper surface of the rocker 12 thereby directly supporting the upper surface of the rocker 12 with the seat attachment bracket 32. Further, the upper wall 34 of the seat attachment bracket 32 is linearly formed in the longitudinal direction view of the vehicle body, and extends linearly toward the interior side of the vehicular width direction (the side on which the upper part of the rocker 12 intrudes) from the upper surface of the rocker 12, thereby exhibiting high rigidity against the load input from the upper part of the rocker 12.
