<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cell and a temperature detection plate capable of detecting an inner temperature in a high precision. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The battery cell 1 is provided which includes a positive electrode plate 2 and a negative electrode plate 3 alternately stacked, a temperature detecting plate 5 which has a temperature detection unit 12 capable of detecting a temperature and an insulation plate 13 in which the temperature detection unit is embedded and which is interposed between either of the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate, and a battery cell case 6 in which the positive electrode plate, the negative electrode plate and the temperature detecting plate are accommodated.
