<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide P450 enzymes, nucleic acid sequences encoding P450 enzymes in nicotiana: and a method for using the enzymes and nucleic acid sequences to alter plant phenotypes. <P>SOLUTION: A method for generating transgenic plants is provided. The method comprises: a step for generating a plant transformation vector by functioningly combining nucleic acid molecules with a promotor functioning in the plant; a step for transforming the plant with the plant transformation vector; a step for selecting plant cells transformed with the transformation vector, and a step for regenerating the plant from the plant cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
