<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which eliminates trouble such as blade turn-up caused by a cleaning blade without forming a toner band, and excels in running cost, print productivity, image quality, and stability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a replenishing means 630 replenishing reservoir space of a cleaning part 60 with collected toner stored in a collected toner storing part 80, whereby lubricity at a press-contact position between the cleaning blade and an image carrier is stably kept without forming the toner band.
