Method and device for damping combustion oscillation

The combustion oscillation damping device has a hollow space (5) arranged in a burner (1). The hollow space is connected to the burner and a combustion chamber (4) such that oscillations are formed in the hollow space. The hollow space is cooled by purge air (13), and is used to damp the thermoacoustic combustion chamber oscillation. An independent claim is included for a method for damping of combustion oscillation in a combustion chamber of a gas turbine.
