PURPOSE: An image display device and an offering method of a demo image are provided to supply an optimized screen by outputting to a corresponding TV a demo image proper to an LCD TV or PDP driving method. CONSTITUTION: A TV controller provides TV information to an external device through HDMI-CEC(High Definition Multimedia Interface-Consumer Electronics Control)(S120), and the AV external device confirms a screen drive type through the TV information(S130). If a connected TV is an LCD TV, a control unit of the AV external device detects a demo video for an LCD from a demo source unit(S140). The control unit of the AV external device transmits the demo image for LDC to the LCD TV through the HDMI communication(S150). |
