PURPOSE: A terminal and a method for controlling the same are provided to hide a pop-up window when displaying a webpage. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit(110) is connected to a certain web page, and a display unit(151) displays the connected web page. If there is a pop-up window in a web page, a control unit(180) automatically the pop-up window in a virtual space. A memory(160) has a certain memory region that stores a pop-up window related information, and a user input unit(130) receives a command to order the display of the pop-up window on the display unit.
