<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emission measurement method and emission measurement apparatus capable of stably acquiring a constant amount of emission to be used for an analysis of biomolecules, and the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The emission measurement method includes the steps of supplying a reagent containing a luminescent substrate to be activated by ultraviolet rays to a test substrate 5 onto which a test material and luminescent enzymes bound thereto are immobilized, irradiating the test substrate 5 to which the reagent has been supplied with the ultraviolet rays 8, and measuring an emission produced by a reaction of the luminescent substrate activated by the ultraviolet rays to the test material, using a CCD 2, and the like. In the irradiation step, they are irradiated with the ultraviolet rays 8 during a predetermined time to ensure a constant amount of emission per unit time by the reaction.
