<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain compatibility of economical property and clearing of restriction while attaining labor-saving in a marine vessel going in and out to a sea area where SOx restriction is performed. <P>SOLUTION: On the marine vessel, a general fuel (C heavy oil) tank 3 and a low sulfur fuel (A heavy oil) tank 4 are mounted. Further, on an exhaust system of an engine 1, a urea water spraying system SCR catalyst 10 is arranged and a by-pass exhaust pipe 16 in which an exhaust gas passes not through the SCR catalyst 10 is arranged. A distance to a restriction object sea area is automatically operated by checking an own marine vessel position automatic detection means B and a restriction map, and while fitting to arrival to the restriction object sea area, the fuel is automatically switched to the general fuel to the low sulfur fuel and the exhaust gas is made flowing to the by-pass exhaust pipe 16 to stop function of the SCR catalyst 10.
