<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control circuit of a backlight applied to a vehicle dashboard panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The control circuit includes: an input device for receiving a plurality of external messages and generating a plurality of corresponding control signals; a microcontroller unit having a plurality of pins for calculating an instruction based on the plurality of control signals from the input device and concurrently generating a plurality of light modulation signals and a plurality of display signals; the backlight having a plurality of light sources; a plurality of pulse width modulation units; and a display for displaying brightness values of the respective light sources in the backlight based on the plurality of display signals from the microcontroller unit. The respective pulse width modulation units are electrically connected with the respective pins of the microcontroller unit and also with the respective light sources in the backlight and control brightness of the respective light sources in the backlight based on a pulse width of the plurality of light modulation signals from the microcontroller unit.
