Disclosed is a technique for providing a handover processing method and others wherein a desired handover can be smoothly performed without interruptions of services.  According to the technique, there are included a step in which a mobile node (100) generates a message including predetermined information for use in a preferential connection of the mobile node to a desired one of a plurality of access networks; a step in which the mobile node transmits the generated message to a base station located in the desired access network or to a base station located in an access network to which the mobile node is currently connected; and a step in which a connection managing apparatus (104), which manages mobile node connections, rejects, based on the predetermined information acquired via the base station having received the transmitted message, a path switching request from any one of the base stations of the access networks other than the desired access network.
