摘要 PURPOSE: An amorphous binder for a grinding wheel, a manufacturing method thereof and a grinding wheel using the amorphous binder are provided to reduce the average crack transmission distance by inducing gahnite crystalline having a small crystal phase and a large CTE(Coefficient Of Thermal Expansion). CONSTITUTION: An amorphous binder binding abrasive particles to form a grinding wheel comprises B2O3(Boron Oxide) of 25~40wt.%, ZnO(Zinc Oxide) of 12~30wt.%, Al2O3(Aluminum Trioxide) of 15~25wt.%, SiO2(Silicon Dioxide) of 5~15wt.%, P2O5(Phosphorous Pentoxide) of 5~10wt.%, and Na2O(Sodium Oxide) of 1~9wt.%. The dilatometric softening point of the amorphous binder ranges from 490°C to 520°C.
