<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless mouse capable of reducing consumption of a battery and avoiding malfunctions. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless mouse, in a normal operation mode, always monitors that a controller acquires each detection signal of an attitude sensor and an optical sensor to find (1) that the bottom surface of a mouse case is horizontal and downward and (2) that the mouse case moves in a state that the bottom surface of the mouse case is brought into contact with a work table (step S3 and S4). When at least either of the two conditions is not established, since a shift is made to a power saving mode, battery consumption can be reduced. Further, even though an operator holds the mouse up to erroneously operate a click switch, or the like in the power saving mode, since return is not made from the power saving mode, it is possible to avoid mouse malfunctions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
