PURPOSE: A broadcast receiver and a method for relaying a broadcast using the same are provided to receive/retransmit a broadcast signal, thereby enabling a terminal located in a shadow region to receive a broadcast. CONSTITUTION: A DMB module(20) receives a broadcast signal from a broadcasting network according to a command of a controller(10). A wireless communication module(30) transmits and receives a wireless signal by specific communication standards. The controller generates a relay signal in which the received broadcast signal is converted into a wireless signal according to communication standards of the wireless communication module. The controller transmits the converted relay signal through the wireless communication module. A storage unit(40) stores broadcast channel information. An output unit(50) includes audio and/ore video output units to output audio and/or video data.
