<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of improving humidifying performance while suppressing the complication of structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The humidifier with an air supply passage formed in a humidifier body to take in outside air from an intake port and to eject air from an ejection port and with an air supply means and a humidifying means disposed at intermediate parts of the air supply passage, is constituted to take the outside air into the humidifier body from the intake port by driving the air supply means, to humidify the taken in outside air by allowing the outside air to pass through the humidifying means at the intermediate part of the air supply passage and to eject the humidified outside air from the ejection port. A return passage constituted to return a part of the humidified outside air to an air supply passage area corresponding to the upstream side of the humidifying means is provided in communication with the air supply passage.
