<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing steel pipe product information in which a manufacturer and an intermediate processor share and manage product information, owned by an end user, of a secondarily processed steel pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The method provides primarily processed steel pipes 1 to an intermediate processor B together with an inspection certificate 6 after attaching one sheet of a master label 3 with product information including a length of a steel pipe 1 described thereon and a plurality of sheets of slave labels 4 with product information excluding the length described thereon onto the inner face or the outer face of the steel pipe 1 cut by a fixed length in a final process of the steel pipe manufacturing and storing the product information of the steel pipe 1 in a computer 5 managed by a manufacturer A. The processor B peels the master label 3 and the slave labels 4 off the steel pipes 1, stores the master labels 3, describes the lengths of secondarily processed steel pipes 2 on the slave labels 4, attaches them on the inner faces or the outer faces of the steel pipes 2, and provides steel pipes 2 with the slave labels 4 attached thereto to final users C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>4</SB>together with the certificates 6, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
