<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve excellent scratch resistance and antireflection performance and to obtain sufficient crosslink density even at a low curing temperature by mainly using a tetrafunctional silane compound, in a coating material composition for an antireflection coating film and an antireflection base material obtained by using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The coating material composition contains a hydrolyzate of a tetrafunctional hydrolyzable organosilane and a hydrolyzable organosilane having an epoxy group and an alkoxy group, and silica-based metal oxide fine particles. The balance of the refractive indices on the surface side and the substrate side of a cured coating film is improved and the cured coating film having excellent scratch resistance and antireflection performance is obtained by incorporating the hydrolyzable organosilane having an epoxy group and an alkoxy group into the composition. Further, since the epoxy group binds to oxygen sites such as hydroxy group or carbonyl group contained in the base material, adhesion property between the cured coating film and the base material is improved and thereby, the scratch resistance can be enhanced even when the curing temperature is low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
