PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk driving device capable of avoiding the contact of a lever and a cover. SOLUTION: When a shock is applied around a pivot 20 of a head actuator 18 when a recording disk 15 is in an inactive state, the head actuator 18 is made swingable around the pivot 20 on the basis of an inertia force. The lever 44 is made swingable around a first shaft 43 on the basis of the inertia force of a weight 45. The lever 44 is brought into contact with a first swingable piece 51 and a second swingable piece 52 at a first working point 53 and a second working point 54. The first swingable piece 51 is made to advance to the movement path of the head actuator 18. The swinging of the head actuator 18 is constrained. The contact of a head slider 23 with the surface of the recording disk 15 is avoided. A swingable member 47 is arranged between the lever 44 and the cover between the first and second working points 53 and 54. The displacement of the lever 44 is constrained on the basis of the swingable member 47.
