A refrigeration device has a first branch pipe (34) into which a liquid refrigerant diverted from a liquid pipe (33) flows and in which a supercooling expansion valve (29) is mounted, a supercooling heat exchanger (28) mounted in the liquid pipe (33) and supercooling the liquid refrigerant by means of the diverted refrigerant flowing into the supercooling heat exchanger (28) from the first branch pipe (34), and a refrigerant circuit (10) in which the diverted refrigerant having been supercooled is injected into intermediate-pressure compression chambers of compressors (21a, 21b, 21c). A controller (80) determines a target temperature of the supercooled liquid refrigerant in the liquid pipe (33) according to a cooling load of a heat exchanger (53) in a cold storage warehouse and controls the degree of opening of a supercooling expansion valve (29) so that the temperature sensed by a liquid temperature sensor (68) becomes the target temperature. |
