PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of performing a route search considering intersections to be detoured, and capable of providing an easily-understandable guide route to a user driving a vehicle. SOLUTION: The navigation device 1 includes an intersection guide mode determination section 7 for determining whether to be an intersection guide mode, a workload measuring section 8 for measuring workload relating to driving of the user on the occasion of passing through an intersection, and an intersection-to-be-detoured determination section 12 for determining whether the intersection is an intersection to be detoured. On the occasion of performing the guide route search for the user, the route search controller 14 of this navigation device 1 controls the route search so as to evade intersections having features the same as or similar to those of the intersections to be detoured.
