PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To succeed the channel information even if communication through an infrared-ray or network is impossible. SOLUTION: A computer includes a receiving means which selects a broadcast signal of a digital broadcast to receive it, a channel information storage means which stores the channel information to specify the receiving channel of the broadcast that the receiving means receives, and a storage control means which stores the final channel information for specifying the receiving channel selected when the receiving means finishes the receiving of the broadcast signal into the channel information storage means.
