FIELD: information technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems for modular framework of content and format of documents. Proposed framework and format define a set of standard assembly units for compiling, packetisation, distribution and imaging document-oriented content. The framework and format were designed in a flexible and extensible way. In addition to this general framework and format, a specific format, known as extended packet format, is determined using the general framework. The extended packet format is a format for storing paginated documents.
