PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a monitoring side to reliably obtain an occurrence of an error in a device to be monitored while preventing a network congestion. SOLUTION: Each device to be monitored (10), which is connected to a monitoring device (30) through a network (50), records schedule information input to own work schedule in a storage medium (14), detects an error event in the device, records error information indicating the error event in the storage medium, and sends the schedule information and the error information in the storage medium to the monitoring device together with the identification information of the device. The monitoring device records the schedule information and the error information from each device to be monitored in the storage medium (34b) in association with the identification information of the device to be monitored, and displays the schedule information and the error information in the storage medium for each of the devices to be monitored (33).
