<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an interruption of reproduction of content of which a progressive download is performed, caused by the content or the network environment, and to enable a fast-forwarding of the content during the reproduction while performing the progressive download. <P>SOLUTION: When an instruction of the progressive download is issued, a content receiving terminal dynamically allocates resources (bus band, CPU, etc.) used in another stream process in the receiving terminal to a progressive download process and performs fast download of a portion that has not been downloaded in order to avoid the interruption of the reproduction. In addition, the receiving terminal transmits a required communication band to a home gateway and the home gateway performs a band control with other communications in a home network to allocate a maximum allowable communication band to the content receiving terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
