PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a situation wherein a safety valve of an electrolytic capacitor operates and thereby an gasified electrolyte is discharged from inside the electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor 200 includes the safety valve 201 for discharging a gasified electrolyte to prevent the blowout when the electrolyte inside the capacitor is gasified by an increase in temperature in the final stage of its life or for other reasons. An absorbing material 300 absorbs the electrolyte discharged through the safety valve 201 of the electrolytic capacitor 200, thus preventing the leakage of the electrolyte discharged through the safety valve 201 to the outside.
