<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire superior in abrasion resistance performance and less in rolling resistance the details of a shape of which are proposed. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire has a belt including at least two layers of inclined belt layers a large number of cords extending in a direction of the tire inclined against an equatorial surface CL of which are covered with rubber on the outside in the diametrical direction of a crown part of a carcass with the carcass straddling in a toroidal shape between a pair of bead parts as a skeleton and has a tread arranged on the outside in the diametrical direction of the belt. A ratio BD/HBW of a diametrical difference BD of a central part in the cross direction and an end part in the cross direction of the most outside layer against half width HBW of the most outside layer of the inclined belt layer on a cross-section in the tire cross direction in a state where the tire is installed on an applicable rim is specified as more than 0.10 and less than 0.13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
