DEHYDRATING SYSTEM AND METHOD

Disclosed is a dehydrating apparatus using a plurality of water separating films. The apparatus aims to prevent individual water separating film units from being damaged and to cope properly with the reductions in the water permeation rates of the water separating films. The dehydrating apparatus (100) comprises at least two water separating film units (1, 2 and 3) connected in series in the flow direction of a fluid to be treated, and two or more heat exchangers (11, 21 and 31) disposed upstream of the individual water separating film units (1, 2 and 3), for heating the treated fluid to a temperature lower than but near the boiling point of the treated fluid. Thus, the dehydrating apparatus (100) separates the water from the treated fluid.
