X-RAY GENERATING APPARATUS

An X-ray generator is provided to firmly immobilize an X-ray tube within a shield case by employing a thermally conductive fixing nut. An X-ray generator(1) has a shield case. The shield case consists of thermally conductive materials. A case body made of stainless has a square column shape. A planar front-panel, a planar rear-panel and an installation base are made of aluminum. The X-ray tube(8) is arranged within the shield case. The X-ray tube includes a cylindrical bulb(9) made of glass. A stem is formed on the end part of the bulb. A thermally conductive fixing nut(30) is used to increase heat transfer and to prevent the damage to the X-ray tube.
