PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve more favorable processing when the name of a file to be created for recording already exists. SOLUTION: A recording system includes: a timer means to output a current time, an instruction means for accepting an instruction to record predetermined data (step 21), a recording means to record the data into a predetermined recording means (step 24), a file name creating means to create the file name using the current time by the timer means when accepting the instruction of the instruction means (step 22), and a control means to prohibit recording of the data by the recording means when there exists the file name based on the same time by comparing the created name created by the file name creating means with an existing file name recorded in the recording means and records the data by using the created file name when there is no same file name based on the same time.
