PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system which prevents that a resident, who took security abnormal information with a lobby intercom, bumps into an intruder. SOLUTION: The intercom system includes a lobby intercom 1, a house intercom 2, a control device and a security sensor S which transmits a detecting signal to the house intercom 2 when security abnormality within a house is detected. When the detecting signal is received, the house intercom 2 transmits an abnormality detecting signal to the control device via a transmission line L and when the abnormality detecting signal is received, the control device stores the time of abnormality detection and the house of abnormality detection source in a storage section as abnormality detection information. The lobby intercom 1 includes an unlock control means for unlocking a public entrance door D upon receipt of unlock operation from a resident or a visitor and a notification means for reading the abnormality detection information from the control device when the unlock operation is received, and notifying the resident or the visitor who performs the unlock operation about at least the time of abnormality detection.
