METHOD OF HEATER TOOL REMOVAL OUTSIDE PLASTIC PIPE CONTACT WELDING ZONE AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION

FIELD: machine building, pipelines. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention deals with construction of pipeline services, in particular - with technology of weld joining plastic pipes with walls more than 20 mm thick. The heater tool is connected to the stationary and the sliding clamps via a rod with the help of the bracket attached to the latter. The rod is inserted in the clamp ear slots. Onto the rod ends there are stoppers fitted with a clearance arranged between the stopper and the ear. The pipes ends melting over, the clamp is drawn aside and one of the pipes is disengaged from the heater tool. Further withdrawal of the sliding clamp results in the stopper coming in contact with the ear and the heater tool disengagement from the other pipe. ^ EFFECT: weld joint quality improvement due to maintenance of the rated duration of thicker wall pipes welding process. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg
