<p>The present invention provides a method for enhancing the recovery of oil from a subterranean reservoir using waterflooding, wherein the flooding fluid used in the waterflooding process comprises water and comminuted feathers. The use of comminuted feathers is expected to increase the recovery of oil by improving sweep efficiency.</p>
