A wide-band electric signal mixer and an optical transmitter using the same are provided to mix two electric signals which are inputted having a frequency spectrum of wideband. An input terminal(210) receives first and second electric signals which have wideband spectrums to be mixed, and controls the phases of the first and second electric signals. A signal mixing terminal(230) switches the second electric signal according to the first electric signal transferred through the input terminal to mix the first and second electric signals. An output terminal(250) provides the signal, which is mixed at the signal mixing terminal, to an external circuit unit.
