BASE FABRIC FOR AIRBAG AND AIRBAG USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base fabric for airbags, which is lighter than a conventional base fabric used as a base fabric for airbags and satisfies physical characteristics that are deficient in a base fabric using a thin thread. SOLUTION: The base fabric for airbags is a base fabric that is integrated by laminating two kinds of a woven fabric A and a woven fabric B different in thickness of thread constituting the woven fabrics and in weaving density. The woven fabric A is a plain woven fabric and has thickness of thread constituting the woven fabric of≤300 dtex and a cover factor of≥800. The woven fabric B is a mesh woven fabric and has the thickness of thread constituting the woven fabric of≥350 dtex and a cover factor of≤400.
